Shared Services Influencers
Dinner
“MJI was delighted to host two private discussions between leading figures in the public and private sector to coincide with the publication of a Shared Services Strategy for Public Services in Scotland. Sponsored by Capita Hartshead, the UK’s leader in pensions administration, the
first event took place at the Scotch Malt Whisky Society in Edinburgh on
Wednesday May 10, and the second at Peebles on September 6th 2006.
A full resume of the evening’s findings was provided to those attending and forwarded to the Minister for Finance and Public Service Reform for consideration within a wide consultation strategy.

A think piece from MJI on the crucial role that the private and voluntary sector can play in delivering effective shared services has been published.”
A recent
article in Municipal Journal covers the salient points.
